Anne Arundel Veterinary Hospital is proud to expand access to advanced and specialty veterinary services for families in South Baltimore cities and Glen Burnie. Select specialty services are available through close collaboration with board-certified specialist partners, allowing certain advanced care to be provided locally when medically appropriate.

What "Advanced Care" means at
Anne Arundel Veterinary Hospital
These services are designed to improve access, continuity, and convenience for pets whose conditions can be safely managed outside of an emergency or referral hospital setting. Advanced and specialty services do not replace 24-hour emergency hospitals or specialty referral centers when those services are medically indicated.
All advanced and specialty care is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and coordinated by our experienced in-house veterinary team to ensure clear communication, continuity of care, and thoughtful follow-through at every step.

Continuity of care
Your pet's records, history, and follow-up stay with the team you already trust.
Advanced medical services support pets with complex or chronic conditions that require enhanced diagnostics, closer monitoring, or specialty input. These services are provided when clinically appropriate and in collaboration with board-certified specialists.
Advanced and specialty services are provided by scheduled appointment only and must be arranged in advance through your primary veterinarian. These services are intended for chronic or non-urgent conditions and are not available for same-day, urgent, or emergency care.
